Panellus stipticus: update

IMG_0910 IMG_0913 IMG_0915 IMG_0916

Two large mycelial colonies of the biolumienscent fungus Panellus stripticus in daylight and the dark. Interesting, that the bioluminescence is now localized to specific areas.

  1. Beautiful. I’m curious, how do you photograph your samples? Is this an infrared light? I have a panellus in culture but I can’t seem to make it glow. I’d love your input. Thanks!
